Membrane Installation
Our flat roof crew installs per manufacturer specifications and NRCA guidelines. TPO seams hot-air welded and probe-tested. Modified bitumen torch-applied in two plies. EPDM fully adhered with proper lap adhesive. Tapered insulation installed to create positive drainage.
Warranty & Drainage Test
After installation, we verify drainage by checking water flow to all drain points. No ponding. Every seam tested. Manufacturer warranty registered, 15-20 year coverage depending on system and build-up.

About Our Ackerman Flat Roofing Services
Modified bitumen is our recommendation for residential flat roofs and high-traffic commercial applications. Two-ply torch-applied SBS system with a granulated cap sheet handles foot traffic, thermal cycling, and MS UV exposure. It's the toughest flat roof membrane for everyday abuse.
Roof coatings can extend the life of an existing flat roof by 10-15 years for a fraction of replacement cost. Silicone coatings over TPO, EPDM, or metal work well when the existing membrane is still in decent condition. We core sample and moisture scan to make sure coating is the right call before recommending it.
